History of the Fallen Ones Evil paced here, see the thin line
of blackened earth still calls out,
even after the Evil has gone, but
for what did Evil pace for?

Was Evil pacing for a lost soul?
perhaps a traveler weary from a
long days journey, stopped to
rest his blistered and aching feet.

No! No! Evil was after a virgin,
yearning to tempt her into the
fake paradise of Hell, leading her
into his trap with his glowing eyes.

Such trivial pursuits for Evil. Evil
wanted the Almighty's kingdom, to
sit atop the gilded throne and rule
the poor, poor, souls roaming about.

And what do those poor souls do?
They give it to him! They let Evil has
his victory, the
Fallen One The Sun sets, the Moon rises, the stream of
Time slips by me quickly, always flowing
yet always there, collecting my bloody tears,
singing their dejected stories to my heart.

I sit by that little stream, a little Pearl in the
big, bad Puritan world, yearning to be free,
listening to the stream tell me my hopes,
dreams, fears, losses. Oh! How torturous, to
be reminded of the things I need to survive.

I must be strong, for my sake and for the
sake of others counting on me, depending on
me, I must not let them fall, I refuse to be
responsible for their destruction, their
slashed souls, their fuzzy, fading, faces.

It is all too much
